This picture is Arabia Isokukka Plate (Isokukka means big flower in Finland) & Runeberg Tart. Runeberg Tart is named after poet J.L. Runeberg who wrote a national anthem for Finland. It is a recycled sweet made from crumbled ginger cookie. The story goes that he loved it and ate every morning… Finnish has a traditional custom of eating Runeberg tart on Feb 5th of his birthday.
